A Fun, Easy Way to Find Out What Acting is All About in a Safe Collaborative Environment

About This Workshop:

This 1-Day workshop will go over the fundamentals of acting including how to read, breakdown and perform a scene, how to connect to a character emotionally, and how to bring realism to your performance. All of this in a supportive and collaborative environment with like-minded people. Elements from different Method teachers such as Meisner, Strasberg, and Hagan will help us to build tension as well as characters that take a simple script and turn it into a moving story.

This is a 1 day workshop that will teach you the fundamentals of acting including:

Script Analysis

Making Choices With Confidence
Scripted Scene Work

Originally from Baltimore, Max is an award winning actor, film maker, and published writer who has performed in dozens of films, TV shows, and plays in New York, Los Angeles, and across the country. Max teaches actors at all levels for private coaching & group classes and is an adjunct professor of acting at the Towson University Hussman Center. He also works as a communication coach with Connected Speech Pathology. Max continues to be a part of the acting world, making several short film each year, and even starring in a few you can find on Amazon right now.
