Tonja is an Emmy Nominated Actress, Tony nominated Producer, and award winning Filmmaker. She is known for her role as Emmy nominated role of Alex Olanov on One Life to Live and for her role as scheming Olivia Jerome on General Hospital in addition to her other roles.

As a singer Tonja has participated in album collections of songs for RCA and has performed in several one woman shows. She produced an award winning Family Film entitled The Derby Stallion, starring Zac Efron, Bill Cobbs, William R. Moses and herself that was released by EchoBridge, Imageworks Entertainment then came out on Video on Demand March 8, 2007. The DVD came out June 2007, and the film grossed over 5 million dollars. She had a successful radio show on the East coast, Straight Talk Live with Tonja Walker, and is continuing to update that here. She is also writing a series based loosely on her life, and is developing content for a new cable channel. Tonja is back living in Palm Springs and in LA.
